Southern heavy metal act Mastodon are making fans very happy by offering a free stream of their entire new album ‘The Hunter’ a week before its release on Sept. 27.

The full album premiere (listen below) is backed by an interesting montage of psychedelic images that complement the songs of the album.

‘The Hunter’ is the band’s first release with eclectic producer Mike Elizondo (Avenged Sevenfold, Fiona Apple, 50 Cent).  The record also features vocals by Neurosis singer Scott Kelly, who is no stranger to Mastodon fans, since he has appeared on previous Mastadon albums. Kelly serves as guest vocalist on the song ‘Spectrelight.’

Check in with Loudwire early next week for a full review of Mastodon’s ‘The Hunter.’
