Megadeth's Dave Mustaine released his autobiography, Dave Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir, back in 2011, but the outspoken rocker apparently has more to say. During an online chat with fans, the rocker was asked if he ever planned to write another book and he revealed that one is already underway.

"Yes, in fact," stated Mustaine, adding, "I started over last summer. It will be a while though." Understandably, the rocker has been a little busy over the past year with a new album called Dystopia. The process has also been a little bit more involved than normal as Megadeth had to replace two band members, then get up to speed with their replacements before recording the new disc.

While Mustaine's first book covered his life from childhood through the band's 2009 album Endgame, it is not known what the next book will entail. However, fans expecting a tell-all might be a little disappointed. When one of Mustaine's followers asked if he could recommend any other rock biographies, the musician responded, "Sad to say most of my peers memoirs are self-promoting f--k/drug-ologues of how high they got or how low they scrape." Given that bit of info, it's not likely that Mustaine will go the salacious route for his next book.

If you somehow missed Mustaine's first book, check out Dave Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir which is available here. Meanwhile, Megadeth's Dystopia album is on schedule for a Jan. 22 street date. The official pre-order can be found here and you can also pre-order via iTunes.
