Megadeth Perform on ‘Guitar Center Sessions’

Metal masters Megadeth were the latest band to take part in the television music series ‘Guitar Center Sessions.’ Megadeth’s episode aired this past Friday on July 13.

The show featured conversations with the band hosted by Nic Harcourt in addition to intimate performance segments from the legendary thrashers.

Clips from the episode are starting to emerge online, including Megadeth performing Trust’ from their 1997 disc ‘Cryptic Writings,’ the song ‘Angry Again,’ included on the soundtrack for the 1993 film ‘Last Action Hero’ and ‘Symphony of Destruction’ from 1992’s ‘Countdown to Extinction.’ Excerpts of each song performance can be seen below.

Megadeth also posted a series of photos taken from the recording of the show on March 22 on their Facebook page, check them out here.

Guitar Center Sessions is collaboration between Guitar Center and DirecTV. The show airs on DirecTV’s Audience Network (channel 239).

Megadeth wrapped up their latest tour dubbed Gigantour in March and will be heading back out to tour Asia and South America throughout August and September, check out all the upcoming dates here.
