Metallica's concert film 'Metallica Through the Never' is coming to DVD, Blu-ray and 3D Blu-ray, along with digital and video-on-demand platforms on Jan. 28. Additionally, exclusive fan club deluxe packages will include an autographed lithograph signed by all four band members and an actual piece of Metallica's concert stage seen in the film.

'Metallica Through the Never' hit 3D IMAX theaters earlier this year, making its way into traditional movie theaters shortly after. Interwoven within live footage of Metallica playing a bulk of fan favorites is a running narrative, which features a band assistant named Trip out on an urgent mission. Of course, Trip's task doesn't go quite as planned.

Although 'Metallica Through the Never' received favorable reviews, it didn't make a big impact at the box office, but now the band has DVD sales to look forward to.

'Metallica Through the Never' will become available on two-disc DVD and Blu-ray releases; a 3D Blu-ray including 3D lenticular artwork that also acts as a reusable sticker; a limited three-disc Blu-ray set that comes with the lenticular artwork, a 'Metallica Through the Never' bandana and a lithograph movie poster; and a limited edition Metallica fan club-only three-disc Blu-ray with all the goodies listed above, (the lithograph in this bundle signed by all four Metallica members) an actual piece of the 'Doris' justice statue seen in the film with a letter of authenticity. The fan club bundle will be limited to only 1,000 copies.

All 'Metallica Through the Never' releases are set to come out on Jan. 28. For more information, head over to Metallica's official website.
