‘In Utero’

What would you do if you had wings? The creator of this GIF took the images of the Transparent Anatomical Manikin from the cover of Nirvana‘s ‘In Utero’ album and made it fly right out of the scene.

The animated cover perhaps better fits the original title Kurt Cobain wanted to use for ‘In Utero,’ which was ‘I Hate Myself and I Want to Die.’ It came from a journal entry and was a nudge at how people were taking his band too seriously. Fearing a lawsuit should a fan actually take the album title seriously, the band eventually relented and used a Courtney Love poem title for the disc.
