Swedish metal band Opeth are set to release their 10th studio album, ‘Heritage,’ on Sept. 20, but fans don't have to wait any longer to hear it.

‘Heritage’ is currently being streamed on National Public Radio’s site and can be heard here.

In the album’s press release, Opeth frontman Mikael Åkerfeldt stated, “It will be our 10th album/observation. I dig it; we all do. In fact, it feels like I've been building up to write for and participate on an album like this since I was 19.”

The album marks the end of the road for keyboardist Per Wiberg, who decided to leave the band after recording the disc. The album will also not feature any death growls or heavy vocals from Åkerfeldt.

Opeth also performed the track ‘Pyre’ on the Swedish morning show Nyhetsmorgon (translated: Morning News). ‘Pyre’ is a bonus track on the deluxe edition of ‘Heritage.’

Perhaps one day Opeth may grace the stage of a U.S morning show? That would be a sight to see.
