Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is currently doing his first country album. Staind vocalist Aaron Lewis has carved out a solid solo career on the side doing country as well, and they're not the only rockers who have crossed over to pull in more fans. But don't look for Ozzy Osbourne taking that step after Black Sabbath's tour winds down.

While the rocker has expressed his desire to continue solo after Sabbath's touring winds down in 2017, don't look for the first Ozzy country album. Speaking with Rolling Stone, Osbourne was asked if he would consider the idea. He responded, "Not me, thank you. Personally, I think you should stick to what you know best. If Steven [Tyler]'s having a good time with it, who am I to complain? But it would be absurd for me to do that. I don't mind country, but the 'Prince of Darkness' with a cowboy hat? I'm a rock 'n' roller, not a f--king country bumpkin."

As for his future, he confirms, "I'm going to continue solo," but adds, "I don't know if I want to tour extensively much more, but I will still keep my fingers in the pie. As for singing 'Crazy Train' at 75, we'll see."

Osbourne also spoke about the band's farewell tour, stating that he's not gotten emotional over the band hanging it up and calling the shows "fun" and some of the best that they've done. He did state that he wished Bill Ward would have been part of the final run in some way. When asked if he would try to get Ward for the final show, Osbourne concluded, "I don't know. Every time I reach out to Bill I get yelled at for something. If something can be worked out, great. Tommy [Clufetos] is doing a great job."
