P.O.D. (Payable on Death) have signed a new multi-album worldwide deal with Razor & Tie and plan on releasing a new album in 2012.

The band will also be reuniting with super producer Howard Benson for their upcoming album. Benson also produced P.O.D.’s album ‘Satellite,’ and is known as one of the premiere producers in the industry having worked with everyone from 3 Doors Down to Theory of a Deadman. Details on the new album are still scarce but the yet-to-be titled album is anticipated to be released in spring of 2012.

P.O.D. vocalist Sonny Sandoval weighed in on the future of his band, "We are really excited to be starting a new chapter of our career with Razor & Tie. We just can't wait to put out the new album and show everyone what we've worked so hard on.”

Razor & Tie co-owners Cliff Chenfeld and Craig Balsam are excited about working with P.O.D. too adding, “P.O.D. is a relevant, legendary, iconic band and we are very excited that they have decided to work with us.” They continued with, “We have made a real commitment to releasing quality music from the best rock bands and signing P.O.D. is a serious statement about how serious and passionate we are."

P.O.D.’s longstanding quality work includes seven studio albums and three Grammy Award nominations. They join bands like All That Remains and Saves the Day on the Razor & Tie label.
