The battle of Seattle is over with Pearl Jam's 'Sirens' album emerging victorious over Soundgarden's 'Halfway There' in the latest Cage Match. Pearl Jam have two victories in a row, but will they continue on the path to the Cage Match Hall of Fame?

Their latest opponents hail from the Midwest. Cage the Elephant are releasing 'Melophobia' this coming Tuesday, Oct. 8, and their latest single 'Come a Little Closer' is climbing the charts. Having just completed dates with Muse, the band only has a few U.S. dates this fall before heading overseas to Europe in February. The 'Melophobia' album is currently available for pre-order here.

Do Cage the Elephant have what it takes to knock off the mighty Pearl Jam or will the veteran rockers add a third straight Cage Match victory to their accomplishments? That's for you to decide. Listen to both songs and vote for your favorite in the poll below:

(This Cage Match will run until Monday, Oct. 7, at 2PM ET. Fans can vote once per hour! So come back and vote often to make sure your favorite song wins!)

Pearl Jam, 'Sirens'

Cage the Elephant, 'Come a Little Closer'

Rules of Cage Match:
Fans can vote once per hour for their favorite song. If a song remains the reigning champ for five straight cage matches, it is retired to the Loudwire Cage Match Hall of Fame. With so many great songs out there, we have to give other bands a chance!
