Philip Anselmo’s Superjoint To Embark on Summer 2015 Tour

Philip Anselmo will be busy this summer. The former Pantera vocalist will be rocking stages with two of his bands -- Superjoint and Down.

Though originally known as Superjoint Ritual, the billing for their summer trek lists the band solely known as Superjoint, a name the act currently has to use for legal reasons. This marks the band's first extended touring in over 10 years. The group did get together to play at Anselmo's Housecore Horror Festival last fall.

Look for Superjoint kicking off the run July 10 in Oklahoma City at the Diamond Ballroom. Dates will run through July 25 in Shreveport, La. King Parrot and Child Bite will provide support on the run, which focuses on the East Coast, South and Southwestern U.S.

As previously announced, Down will be touring the U.S. this year and that their next leg of dates will kick off in August, shortly after Anselmo wraps his run with Superjoint. The trek gets underway Aug. 6 in Louisville.  See the tour routing below.
