Pantera / Down frontman Philip H. Anselmo is set to unleash his debut solo album, 'Walk Through Exits Only,' on July 16, and a few songs from the upcoming release have already been revealed. But we've got an extra special treat for you: Loudwire has the exclusive premiere of the music video for 'Bedridden' -- the first official video from Anselmo's newest project.

'Bedridden' offers the same intensity that's pervasive throughout the 'Walk Through Exits Only' album. Deeply infused in hardcore, some groove and thrash elements are mixed in with 'Bedridden,' along with some really interesting guitar work. The solos written for the song are super whammy-bar heavy, bending notes for a noticeably long time which results in an awesomely uncomfortable bridge.

The black-and-white video for 'Bedridden' showcases Philip H. Anselmo and his backing band the Illegals jamming the song in a practice space covered in posters and chalk while switching to footage of Anselmo himself lazing around on a couch. As the shut-in 'Bedridden' character, Anselmo drinks beer, smokes, reads, watches TV and even shares a banana with his dog. Another Phil Anselmo enters the room in distaste for what he sees, which brings an interesting end to the clip -- but you'll have to watch for yourself to see it.

Of the song itself, Anselmo tells us, "There's truth in a lot of the [album's] lyrics but none more so than probably 'Bedroom Destroyer' and 'Bedridden,' which are companions on the record. Really, those songs are about a state of mind that I get into. Like when I know damn good and well I've got a lot on my plate and I've created that very scenario to where yes, I'm a guy that said yes to this. Yes to something that I have to fulfill my end of the deal and I'm laying there in bed with a sore back and f---in' 600 emails to answer. Busy work on top of busy work when really I could throw the computer on the floor and get up and f---in' do the more important things in life some justice."
