Pierce the Veil had solid success with 'Collide With the Sky,' but the band is ready to move forward with their next album and they've recently entered a New York studio to begin work on the disc.

The band is holed up at Dan Korneff's Sonic Deris Recording Studio in New York and they're currently eyeing a January 2015 street date for their next release. The still-untitled disc is being produced by Korneff (A Day to Remember, Paramore), who previously worked with Pierce the Veil on their 'Collide With the Sky' album.

Pierce the Veil started writing this past spring, with pre-production officially beginning back in June. The group penned 11 tracks, with nine specifically earmarked for the new album, and the band has penned two more new songs since that June start.

Frontman Vic Fuentes says, "We try to stay focused on writing and recording songs that we're happy with, that we like, songs that will be fun to play live and that our fans will want to sing along with, songs that offer a little something different, but are all still very much PTV songs."

Pierce the Veil will break from the studio for a lengthy trek this fall, building up to the release of the new album. Their five-month, multi-leg international trek with Sleeping With Sirens kicks off stateside on Nov. 5 in Fresno, Calif. To see the band's upcoming dates, click the button below.
