Powerman 5000 just released their new 'Builders of the Future' album, but the cool promotions for the disc haven't stopped just because it's out. In fact, Powerman have just launched a new mini-site giving fans the chance to create their own custom Powerman 5000-themed robot to share online.

The site, located at PM5Kcorp.com, allows the users to upload an image of themselves which can be incorporated into the digitally created image. The promo ties into the title of the disc, with frontman Spider One having an eye toward the technological future.

The vocalist says, "We've replanted our flag as the weird, sci-fi, electronic band. This is what we are. This is what we do best. This is clearly what people like from us the most, too. So I'm going to love it like they love it. We're back. The fan base has really rallied around us again. The enthusiasm feels like it's picked right up from the year 2000. The electronic-metal-dance thing, we've locked it down once and for all with this one."

The band has already released the single 'How to Be a Human' and recently previewed the cut 'Invade.Destroy.Rebuild' here at Loudwire. The disc is available at Amazon and iTunes.
