Since they were founded in 2013 by former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee, there has been a revolving door of vocalists in Red Dragon Cartel since Darren James Smith sang on the band's 2014 self-titled debut album.

After his departure, vocal duties have been handled by Michael Beck, Chas West and Paul D'Eath. Now the band has named Shawn Crosby as their new singer. Crosby is a veteran musician and former member of Jones Street. He was also in the AC/DC tribute band Back in Black. You can see him perform the AC/DC classic "Highway To Hell" with Steel Panther above.

"I will be out on tour singing for Jake E. Lee's Red Dragon Cartel for the month of July and, hopefully, for many months and years after," Crosby says. "That is, if we can all play nice in the sandbox together! I'm sure we will. I couldn't be playing with a cooler bunch of guys."

The rest of the lineup includes Lee, bassist Anthony Esposito (Lynch Mob, Ace Frehley) and drummer Jonas Fairley.

Crosby's first show with Red Dragon Cartel will be Thursday night (July 9) in Philadelphia, Pa. The band has numerous July shows in the northeastern and southern U.S. In September they head to Japan for a few shows. For all their live dates, go here.
