The Twins of Evil II co-headlining tour featuring Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson hit a snag last night (July 26) after an "unforeseen illness" caused Manson to cancel his set. Still, the Ontario crowd was treated to some Manson live... well, sort of.

Rob Zombie, playing an extended set, dipped into his tour mates' well, covering "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)," a Eurhythmics cut that was featured on Manson's 1995 EP, Smells Like Children. The singer and his band put their own spin on the song with a droning feel and jarring rhythms, and you can watch it in the video above.

To celebrate their tour together, Zombie and Manson teamed up in the studio, cutting an industrialized cover of the Beatles' heavy hit "Helter Skelter" and even performing the track onstage.

While Manson is promoting his latest album, 2017's Heaven Upside Down, Zombie is looking forward at the successor to The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser, which was released in 2016. “The record's done. It'll get out next year, early next year,” the frontman told us in a recent interview. “I think this and so do the guys in the band — I think it's the best record we've made. Parts of it are the heaviest, parts are the weirdest, it's the most complex record we've ever made, but at the same time it's always very catchy and listenable, but it's the most intricately structured record."
