No. 19: Rob Zombie, ‘Hellbilly Deluxe’ – Best Debut Hard Rock Albums

Rob Zombie, 'Hellbilly Deluxe'
Geffen

Could Rob Zombie make it on his own after really carving out a niche with White Zombie? The answer to that question was a resounding “yes,” when Rob stepped out of his comfort zone to give fans ‘Hellbilly Deluxe.’

‘Dragula’ and ‘Living Dead Girl’ became huge hits and also showed that Zombie wasn’t straying too far from the horror rock that he build his name on in the years prior. Songs like ‘Superbeast,’ ‘Meet the Creeper’ and ‘How to Make a Monster’ also helped solidify Zombie’s status as a freshly minted solo act.
