Rob Zombie, you've got our attention! The rocker has promised one of the better records of his career, and if the snippet of the lead single 'Dead City Radio' Zombie just offered up is any indication, there's some great rocking ahead.

Zombie revealed the sampling of 'Dead City Radio' via an online puzzle that fans had to work through to unlock the piece of the song. The circular puzzle featured rings that when lined up create the newly-revealed 'Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor' album cover art (seen to the left). As for the song itself, it begins with Zombie as a narrator revealing, "I wanna tell you about a Dead City Radio man." After a hyped-up intro with some driving beats underneath, the track truly kicks in with a Zombie yell and forging 'Dragula'-like guitar and drum aggression. Then the vocalist offers a vivid description of his subject, calling him "a rhinestone tiger in a leisure suit."

The singer has stated of the new album, "It’s stylistically sort of a little bit of everything. Fans of my really old stuff will love it because there’s a certain aspect of it that’s very reminiscent of that. But it is also very looking to the future. It’s hard to describe music to somebody if they haven’t heard it, but I feel like it’s the best of all the things I’ve done. I’ve finally found a perfect match between the old stuff I did and then new stuff. That’s the way it sounds to me anyway."

'Dead City Radio' is featured on the 'Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor' album, which is due April 23. Pre-orders for the disc are currently being taken here.
