Concert security is already a thankless job, and one unlucky guard was rewarded for his efforts with a splashing of puke courtesy of Say Anything frontman Max Bemis.

During the band's Dec. 22 show at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, Bemis literally spilled his guts onstage. Looking a bit wobbly, the Say Anything frontman seemed to hold back the vomit a few times in the show before finally letting loose while performing 'I Want to Know Your Plans.'

Bemis was caught spewing twice on camera. The first ralphing was relatively small before Bemis turned his head to unleash the rest of his stomach's contents.

TMZ shows two angles from the West Hollywood gig, the second of which clearly sees Bemis' puke hitting a security guard. The unfortunate guard may not have noticed at first, but after that smell wafts into your nostrils, there's no mistaking it for anything else.

If you have the stomach for it, watch the footage of Max Bemis hurling on a security guard above.
