Seether have been laying low lately but the rock trio recently took to Twitter to give fans the lowdown on what’s going on in their world including the prospect of some new music in the near future.

The band scored a big success with their last album, ‘Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray,’ which yielded the hits ‘Country Song’ and ‘Tonight,’ among others. Now, they’re hard at work on their next disc.

In the tweet seen below posted on June 30, Seether kept things short and sweet sharing some news that clued fans in on the fact that they are not only already working on material for a new album but they are expecting to release it later this year.

That’s not all though, the band followed that up today (July 2) posting a fifteen second tease of one of the tracks they are working on, labeling it simply: “New s–t we’re working on.” Although the clip is short, it gives a good preview of what’s in store, check it out below.
