Rockers We’ve Lost in 2011: Seth Putnam
Few musicians have inspired the amount of controversy as late Anal C— frontman Seth Putnam. Always rooted in morbid humor and shock tactics, AC were one of the innovators of the grindcore and noise sub-genres of extreme metal. Putnam was never shy to speak his mind or to address his heavy drug use, which put the frontman into a coma in 2004. Putnam succumbed to heart failure on June 11, 2011, at the age of 43.
