Sevendust Reveal Spring 2016 Tour Dates With Trivium + Like a Storm

Sevendust
7 Bros.

Sevendust have been enjoying a little break from the road over the holidays, but the band will crank up the touring machine once again in late April. The group has just announced a new slate of dates that kick off April 26 in Baton Rouge, La., and continue through a May 28 finale at the Rocklahoma Festival in Pryor, Okla.

The Grammy-nominated rockers will be hitting the road with Trivium and Like a Storm while they continue support of their Kill the Flaw album. Frontman Lajon Witherspoon states, “We can’t wait to embark on our first Kill The Flaw headline tour of the States! Looking forward to jamming with our brothers in Trivium and Like A Storm for the first time as well. Can’t wait to see you all on the road!”

Sevendust were part of one of the fall’s biggest treks, playing alongside Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin, but on this run the band will enjoy longer sets as the headliners, giving them the ability to dig into their catalog for a healthy dose of hits while also showcasing a bit more of their Kill the Flaw favorites. See all of their U.S. tour dates below and get ticketing info via their website.

One song likely to be part of the set is “Thank You,” which recently earned the band their first ever Grammy nomination. The song is up for Best Metal Performance at this year’s ceremony and the group will find out if they won on Feb. 15 at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

In our recent interview, Witherspoon stated, “You know, you have to take a look at it like this, what a blessing it would be to actually come home with a Grammy, but I always say now to myself and my closest friends and everyone, man at the end of the day that’s one thing that they can never take from us is that nomination. That’s a real big deal, we’ll see what happens. It’s really exciting.”
