Last night in Dallas all the stars seemed to align when Slash, Zakk Wylde, Jason Newsted, David Draiman, and Vinnie Paul  joined Megadeth on the Texas-sized stage during their set to join in on a cover of the Thin Lizzy tune ‘Cold Sweat.’

Gigantour (Featuring Megadeth, Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, Newsted and Death Division) was in town as part of the 97.1 The Eagle Presents BFD 2013 concert that also included Slash on the bill, setting up the perfect timing for the all-star jam.

Death Division bassist Jerry Montano shared the video below on Instagram that he took from the side of the stage during the epic performance.

After the show, Slash commented about the experience on Twitter, saying, "Great night in Dallas tonight!" He also commended the crowd, calling them "killer."

Megadeth’s version of ‘Cold Sweat’ was included on their latest disc ‘Super Collider,' released on June 4. The song has been a staple in their set list throughout the Gigantour run.

Sharing the stage would be short lived though and a one-night opportunity, as Megadeth and company will continue on without Slash to finish off the remainder of the Gigantour dates, wrapping up in mid-August while Slash will continue on with his own tour dates.
