The Southern California punk rockers of Social Distortion have revealed dates for a fall tour in North America to promote their latest record ‘Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes.’

Support for the tour includes alternative country artist Lindi Ortega and Atlanta rock band The Biters.

‘Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes’ dropped early last year and is Social Distortion’s first album in seven years since 2004’s ‘Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll.’

We reported that frontman Mike Ness spoke to the Salt Lake Tribune about the latest disc by saying, “[We're going to] shock everyone and release it in a timely fashion. I don’t like to take it for granted that fans will stick around. We had some big gaps between albums.”

It’s no surprise that fans have stuck around since the band’s debut record ‘Mommy’s Little Monster’ in 1983. Ness also went on to say that he feels good about ‘Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes’ saying that the album “left the creative door open.”

Social Distortion kicks off their trek on October 11 in Chicago, Ill., and wrap up on Nov. 16 in San Antonio, Texas. Tickets are currently on sale, for more information go here. Check out a full list of dates and cities below.
