Sunset Strip dwellers Steel Panther have scored a plum hometown gig. The delightfully throwback-ish band will open for Guns N' Roses at the Forum in Los Angeles tomorrow, Dec. 21. The tongue-in-cheek glam revivalists just wrapped a U.K. trek with Motley Crue and Def Leppard and will cap off a stellar 2011 with this GN'R gig.

The band released 'Balls Out' via Universal Republic earlier this year and judging from the tour dates they've been collecting, they are living the dream and going, well, balls out!

Loudwire will post some live footage – since fans always throw it up online after the fact- from tomorrow night's high-profile gig if/when it surfaces. The question remains, though. Will any members of Steel Panther join GN'R during their set? Or will someone from GN'R make a cameo on stage while Steel Panther is rocking the hell out? Anything -and we do mean anything- could happen in L.A.

Congrats to the Panther for scoring the opening slot of a lifetime. We're certain they'll kill it and win over the GN'R crowds.
