Steven Adler's new band Adler have just been forced to postpone their 2013 summer tour. The tour's postponement is due to Steven Adler checking back into rehab for substance abuse issues.

The former Guns N' Roses drummer has been battling with drug and alcohol issues for over two decades, even appearing on the VH1 programs 'Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew' and 'Sober House.' It was just announced that Adler's issues with substance abuse have become too serious once again, but the drummer will hopefully kick his demons for good with this latest rehab stint.

“We are truly sorry to all of the fans and promoters who were looking forward to seeing us on the road," says Adler singer Jacob Bunton, "but right now Steven’s health is the most important thing. We hope to make it up to everyone when Steven recovers.”

The official press release addressing Adler's tour cancellation did not specify as to what substance or substances contributed to Steven Adler's latest relapse, but we want to send our best wishes to the veteran dummer as he enters his latest battle against addiction.

Stay tuned for more news on Steven Adler's condition along with revised tour dates for the drummer's eponymous act.
