Update: Fan-filmed video of the full performance can now be seen above.

Like father, like son! Apparently the music gene runs in the Taylor family as fans at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J. discovered Thursday night (July 27) during Stone Sour's set.

"Song #3" has been a staple in the Stone Sour set pretty much from the moment they began supporting the Hydrograd album, but for much of the performance Corey Taylor took a back seat and let his enthusiastic son Griffin take on lead vocals. Sporting a similar haircut to his father, the teen stepped up to the mic and rocked the song with plenty of stage presence, as you can see in the fan-filmed video of the full performance above and the short clip posted below by That Metal Show co-host and comedian Don Jamieson.

You can an even get a better view of the spitting image that Griffin is of his dear ol' dad in a recent Corey Taylor Instagram post that's seen below.

The family affair happened during "The Summer of Serenity" tour that Stone Sour is currently on with Korn. There are still several dates left in the trek, which is currently winding down its run. See what's remaining, and what Stone Sour has planned out for the rest of the year right here.
