played the Soundwave Festival in Australia over the weekend, with the Brisbane show being the live debut of new vocalist Eddie Hermida, who replaced the late . Watch video of the first three songs of the set below.

In an interview at the festival (watch above), Hermida revealed some of Lucker's lyrics will be used on their upcoming album. "We have a song on there," Hermida says (transcription via Metal Injection). "Mitch left behind some lyrics, and we actually incorporated it into a song. It's about him being bigger than life, you know what I mean?!"

Hermida continues, "It's about finding that true resilience within yourself to keep going, which really means the world to us, 'cause, obviously, that's what we're doing. It came out very beautiful."

No release date or title has been set for the album, which the band says is recorded and now in the mixing process.

‘Suicide Silence – Ending Is the Beginning: The Mitch Lucker Memorial Show’ was released last week (Feb. 18) on CD/DVD and Blu-ray. The December 2012 concert featured numerous guest stars and raised money for Lucker's daughter's future education.

Among the artists appearing at the concert were Lamb of God‘s Randy Blythe, Machine Head‘s Robb Flynn and Soulfly‘s Max Cavalera, Hermida, Hellyeah‘s Chad Gray, Winds of Plague‘s Johnny Plague, Impending Doom‘s Brook Reeves, Asking Alexandria‘s Danny Worsnop, As I Lay Dying‘s Tim Lambesis, Whitechapel‘s Phil Bozeman and Of Mice & Men‘s Austin Carlile.

The DVD also includes a 30 minute documentary about Lucker, with performance footage along with interviews of his bandmates and family.
