Let's get this out of the way: System of Down have never released a bad album, so when it was time to rank their discs from weakest to strongest, the word weakest didn't really apply. However, there are discs that are stronger than others in the band's discography.

In less than a decade (the band's studio discs span from 1998 through 2005), System of a Down put out some of the most incredibly original and mind-blowing albums in the hard rock and metal community. They introduced the world to their truly eclectic brand of music on their stellar self-titled debut in 1998 and then took the world by storm with their 2001 masterpiece, Toxicity.

Following Steal This Album in 2002, the band delivered an unconventional double album, Mezmerize / Hypnotize, released six months apart in 2005, but it's been more than 10 years since System of a Down graced us with a new disc. However, that looks like it's about to change, as the band is reportedly hard at work on their first album in more than a decade.

In the meantime, see how we ranked System of a Down's albums from weakest (again, none of them are weak) to strongest in the gallery above!
