Slash, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators are back in the studio to create the follow-up to their 2012 album 'Apocalyptic Love.' The top-hatted shredder has offered some recent updates from the studio via his Twitter page for what he's calling a "heavy record," including a couple of Vine videos of the guys in action.
Kings of Chaos are an all-star touring project that features Corey Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour), Glenn Hughes (Black Country Communion) and Steve Stevens along with Velvet Revolver/ex-Guns N' Roses members Slash, Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan. Their only North American show of 2013 will be Nov. 18 in Los Angeles at Avalon Hollywood for a benefit gig called 'Tokyo Celebrates the Dolphin.'
Last month, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie and her actor husband Josh Duhamel announced that they had named their son Axl. It's not a very common name, and Fergie has said she's a big Guns N’ Roses fan, meaning the kid was likely named after Axl Rose. Slash is joining the lineup of Rock N’ 2 Remember – a benefit concert being held to raise money for the families of the firefighters who lost their lives battling the recent fires in Arizona, as well as the residents who were affected by those fires.
