A Perfect Circle will strap on the instruments for a handful of one-off shows and festival appearances in the coming months, but the big question remains as to when we'll see new music from the band. Guitarist and founder Billy Howerdel says that while nothing is imminent, he has been working on music for the group.

Longtime A Perfect Circle drummer Josh Freese has announced his departure from the band. The group performed a handful of shows in 2011, but Freese was unable to accompany APC due to a scheduling conflict concerning Weezer, with whom Freese was touring member of from 2009-2012. Freese now seems to have other priorities, as he officially announced his exit from APC earlier today (Oct. 2).
Current A Perfect Circle and former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha has stepped back into the world of being a solo artist, with his 'Look to the Sky' album arriving next week. James Iha, the former Smashing Pumpkins and current A Perfect Circle guitarist, will release his solo album 'Look to the Sky' on Sept. 18 via The End Records. The album was produced by Iha and Nathan Larson (ex-Shudder To Think) at Iha’s studio Stratosphere Sound in New York. The song 'To Who Knows Where' is now available for streaming (link below).
