Punk rock legends Bad Religion are scheduled to begin touring North America on March 8 to promote their 2013 album, 'True North,' and to entertain fans with over three decades worth of quality tunes. Against Me! and Polar Bear Club were set in place to open for Bad Religion, but unfortunately, Against Me! have announced that they must cancel their upcoming appearances.

Against Me! singer Tom Gabel made one of the biggest proclamations of the year this spring when he revealed he was dealing with gender dysphoria and finally came out as transgender with plans to become Laura Jane Grace.

The transformation of Against Me! singer Tom Gabel into Laura Jane Grace continues to evolve with each passing show. During the band's recent performance at New York's Terminal 5 opening for the Cult, Grace used a cover song, and help from a music icon, to address her transgender transformation.

It was a moment we'd all been awaiting, but not as much as Against Me!'s Tom Gabel. Friday night (May 25), the singer took to the stage as Laura Jane Grace. It was the first time the singer had performed live with his band since coming out as a transgender in the recent weeks.

Against Me! frontman Tom Gabel has just come out as transgender and will begin living life as a female named Laura Jane Grace. Gabel will remain married to wife Heather, and a parent to the couple's 2-year-old daughter, Evelyn.
