August Burns Red have enjoyed their break from the road, but now have enough material to begin recording their next studio album. The group confirmed their return to the studio via a series of Facebook posts this past week, with drummer Matt Greiner getting his tracking out of the way first. One of the first studio photos can be seen above. Even before a note was recorded, Greiner had been pounding away. In a photo posting, it was revealed that the drummer physically wore down his drumsticks during the writing process.
It's still the middle of summer, but Christmas will be here before you know it. August Burns Red plans to get you in the holiday spirit with their upcoming Christmas album August Burns Red Presents: 'Sleddin' Hill, A Holiday Album.' With an Oct. 9 street date via Solid State Records, the album will include holiday classics along with original songs. August Burns Red has released a holiday cover song each of the past four years, which will all be included on 'Sleddin' Hill.'
Pennsylvania based rockers August Burns Red are gearing up to hit the road later this summer with support from the Color Morale and the Overseer and a yet-to-be-named special guest, whom some suspect may be Of Mice & Men.
