Are you ready for Axewound? After working out their scheduling issues, it looks as though the metal supergroup will finally get to release their debut album. 'Vultures' currently carries on Oct. 1 release in the U.K., with the disc dropping a day later in the U.S.

There's been an air of anticipation building for most of the year once Bullet for My Valentine singer Matt Tuck announced his intent to play guitar alongside Cancer Bats singer Liam Cormier in the new band Axewound.
Matt Tuck is a busy man, splitting his time these days between fronting Bullet for My Valentine and playing guitar in his new project AxeWound. It's the latter project that's getting out and playing shows at the moment, but both bands have been busy behind the scenes working on new albums.
AxeWound, the metal supergroup featuring Bullet for My Valentine vocalist Matt Tuck on guitar and Cancer Bats vocalist Liam Cormier in the frontman position, are letting no grass grow under their boots. The band is working quickly and has released a new taste of music, this time in the form of 'Cold.'
Bullet for My Valentine frontman Matt Tuck is wasting no time moving full speed ahead with his new project, the band AxeWound. After revealing the lineup, which includes Cancer Bats' Liam Cormier on vocals, and offering a free download of 'Post Apocalyptic Party,' the band has now unveiled a batch of European tour dates.
