Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery is taking a step back from the road temporarily, but the band has moved quickly to fill the void, selecting Evanescence's Troy McLawhorn to sit in on guitar during Lowery's absence. The Sevendust rocker is taking the time away to be at home with his lovely wife Tara as they await the birth of their daughter. This will be the couple's second child. They wed in 2010 and already have a son, born the same year.
Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery is determined to make his new project Call Me No One work. In a new blog posted on Lowery’s official website, the prolific guitarist expressed his excitement about the band’s debut disc -- ‘Last Parade,’ out today (June 5) -- and how he “can’t wait for people to hear” the result of all the hard work Lowery, Sevendust drummer Morgan Rose, Hurt’s Rek Mohr and guitarist Alan Price put into it.
Atlanta-based alt-metal outfit Sevendust have been on a bit of a hiatus this year with band members busy with two fresh side projects, Call Me No One and Projected. Fans of the band have been more than a bit worried about the possibility of a permanent Sevendust split, but thankfully guitarist Clint Lowery has confirmed that a new Sevendust album is on the way.
