Demon Hunter have found themselves in the headlines after a recent Esquire article that focused on the assassination of Osama bin Laden. In the piece, an anonymous Navy SEAL member who the magazine reports is the man who shot Bin Laden to death, spoke openly about the use of hard rock and metal music in prisoner interrogations. In the article, the SEAL team member opened up about Demon Hunter offering their support by sending along CDs and patches.
Seattle metal band Demon Hunter are celebrating their 10 year anniversary in the best way possible -- by releasing a new disc. ‘True Defiance,’ due out on April 10, is being coined as their most aggressive album to date, fueled by both their core principles in addition to their thoughts on the lackluster state of metal over the last few years.
Demon Hunter have released a video for their latest single ‘My Destiny’ off of their upcoming record, ‘True Defiance.' Produced by Aaron Sprinkle (Anberlin, Emery) and mixed by Jason Suecoff (All That Remains, Trivium), the band’s follow up to their 2010 release, ‘The World Is A Thorn,’ is set for release on April 10.
Ryan Clark is long known for his work fronting Seattle-based Christian metal band Demon Hunter, but he’s also a professional graphic designer. As it turns out, Clark has worked in the visual arts for as long as he’s been screaming and singing with the Hunter. That eye for graphic design came in handy when envisioning the artwork for Demon Hunter’s upcoming full-length, ‘True Defiance,’ out April 10.
