Current Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell spent most of his career in the ‘80s playing in the band Dio with Ronnie James Dio. When Campbell parted ways with Dio in 1986, it wasn’t on the best terms and the war of words between the two continued throughout their careers. Now, years later, Campbell admits that he regrets some of the things he said about the late singer.
Former Dio bassist Jimmy Bain got into what is being described as a minor traffic accident last night (Aug.28) in Burbank, Calif., at approximately 9:30 PM PT, but that’s not the worst of it. According to the responding officers, Bain was under the influence and it was suspected to be more than just alcohol.

It turns out that Metallica even contacted Dio's widow directly in order to get the ball rolling on their participation.
