You'll want to start booking travel for Wisconsin this summer. That's because the lineup for this year's Rock USA festival has been unveiled and it definitely rocks. The event, which will be held July 16-19 at Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh, Wis., features such big name acts as Korn, Slayer, Rob Zombie, Five Finger Death Punch and more.
Five Finger Death Punch
After teasing audiences with a trailer last week, Five Finger Death Punch have unveiled their cinematic new video for 'House of the Rising Sun.' Upon announcing that the video was coming, the band stated that it was "an experiment" and their "initial steps toward something we always wanted to do … make a full length movie." Mission accomplished!
With a name like Five Finger Death Punch, quite honestly, we're a little surprised we haven't seen more of this, but the band's hit 'Under and Over It' proved to be the perfect soundtrack for a full-on hockey throwdown between hockey players Joel Theriault and Gaby Roch of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey (North American Hockey League) based in Canada.
Anyone on this year’s ShipRocked cruise knows that Five Finger Death Punch could have completely powered the boat themselves with a pair of electric performances. The band was the very first to rock the boat on the first day as they hit the Deck stage as the Norwegian Pearl left Miami. Later in the cruise, they played another monster gig in the Stardust Theater. ShipRocked 2014 was definitely one to remember, especially if you are a 5FDP fan.
As Day 3 of ShipRocked dawned, it would serve as the last day of invading the beautiful, private Bahamian island so rockers were up early to take full advantage of the exotic surroundings one last time. The music didn’t kick off until early afternoon allowing fans to catch up on some much needed sleep, work on their tans and re-energize for another day of non-stop rock 'n' roll revelry.
With all new digs aboard their new home on the glorious Norwegian Pearl, the 2014 ShipRocked cruise set sail on Jan. 25 for a four-day, nonstop rock 'n' roll extravaganza. Offering up six on-board stages and a private Bahamas island beach stage, the excursion lived up to all expectations of rocking the high seas.
