Not too long ago, HIM vocalist Ville Valo and bassist Mikko 'Migé' Paananen visited our studios. We had a ton of stuff to talk about, resulting in one of our best 'Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?' segments to date, along with the duo's thoughts on Bam Margera and the late Ryan Dunn.
This past weekend was filled with European melodies as Finnish rockers HIM and UK outfit Anathema played two shows at Irving Plaza in New York City. The first gig took place Friday (March 14) and the second on Sunday (March 16).
Finnish rockers HIM return to the U.S. this week to kick off a headlining tour with support band Anathema. The trek launches Friday (March 7) in Hollywood, Calif. and traverses the country before wrapping up March 25 in Houston.
With their eighth studio album, ‘Tears on Tape,’ HIM have had a busy year. The band recently wrapped up their North American Rock Allegiance trek with Volbeat and All That Remains and now they are on the road in Europe.
The Rock Allegiance Tour may have reached the final week of its 2013 run, but that didn’t stop the bands on the bill from laying it all out on the stage when they rolled into the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Massachusetts on Sept. 27.
This summer promises to be a scorcher regardless of the weather and that's because the 2013 Rock Allegiance Tour will be providing an incendiary rock show for fans across the country. The trek, sponsored by Monster Energy, features a U.N. of hard rock, with Volbeat, HIM, All That Remains and Airbourne making up the bill. Now, the first round of dates for the tour has been announced.
