Linkin Park recently released their new single, ‘Guilty All the Same,’ giving fans a taste of the direction of their upcoming album, ‘The Hunting Party,’ due June 17. We were one of the lucky few who spent a morning at MSR Studios in New York City to listen to a handful of new tracks presented by none other than Linkin Park's very own Mike Shinoda.
Linkin Park have never been your traditional act. Start by having two vocalists -- one a powerful belter while the other comes from a hip-hop background. Add in a DJ/programmer, and then layer that on top of the traditional guitar, bass and drums. That gives them plenty of space to experiment. But with a new album en route and the guitar heavy 'Guilty All the Same' just hitting the airwaves, it's not a reach to suggest we may be hearing more guitar than ever from the band.
Korn have made it two-for-two in the Loudwire Cage Match, albeit by the slimmest of margins. The band's latest single, 'Spike in My Veins,' bested Chevelle's 'Take Out the Gunman' with just over 50 percent of the vote. But does this hard-hitting Korn single have what it takes to advance again?
In a hangar-like sound studio in Hollywood, California, members of Linkin Park and Thirty Seconds to Mars were on hand Tuesday, March 4 to announce their upcoming North American 'Carnivores' tour (which will also be featuring AFI).
Linkin Park unleashed a pleasant surprise on fans today with their new single 'Guilty All the Same' off their upcoming as-yet-untitled album. The song (listen below) features a guest spot from rapper Rakim.
