Linkin Park are definitely in the giving spirit year-round, but the rockers are doing something special this holiday season by proclaiming what's called #GivingTuesday. The day-long event, held Nov. 27, finds the band's charitable arm, Music for Relief, supporting the work of the United Nations in giving the unique gift of clean energy solutions to people who have no access to electricity and rallying fans to donate.
Vocalist Chester Bennington delivers some killer hooks in Linkin Park's hit songs, but in 'Saw: 3D,' he's the one who gets killed. In the seventh and final installment of the most financially successful horror movie series in history, Chester Bennington plays a racist skinhead placed into one of Jigsaw's traps.
Linkin Park and their Music for Relief organization are hard at work once again following Hurricane Sandy's destruction in both Haiti and the U.S. last week. Co-vocalist Mike Shinoda is raising awareness for Music for Relief's efforts, which will provide assistance to those in need in the aftermath of the natural disaster.
Linkin Park, 'Castle of Glass'
Linkin Park are reaching out to their fan base once again and if they respond to the latest call for action, the group will reveal their 'Castle of Glass' music video early. There's a catch though, as the band is directing fans to test out the multiplayer beta for the upcoming game 'Medal of Honor Warfighter' game from EA.
