To see Living Colour live for any rock fan is to witness the infusion of so many musical genres combined together. Their techniques and approach to music had both fans and bands in awe when they performed on ShipRocked 2014.

In a Super Bowl short on drama, one of the highlights of the event was seeing Red Hot Chili Peppers performing alongside Bruno Mars at the Super Bowl halftime show. But the performance is now garnering some criticism for its apparent lack of authenticity.

'That Metal Show' is back in action and set for a new episode on Saturday night (Jan. 25). Already in its 13th season, the VH1 Classic series has an all-star lineup in the works, with members of Sevendust and Living Colour to guest on the Jan. 25 episode.

Living Colour arrived on the hard rock scene in 1988, effectively knocking down the color barrier in the process. The band's hard-hitting debut 'Vivid' featured the African-American rockers blending metal, funk, jazz and hip-hop into one seriously passionate fusion. They were rewarded in 1990 with the Grammy for Best Hard Rock Performance for the breakout single, 'Cult of Personality.'
