In addition to cranking out a slew of their own radio hits, Halestorm have always had a soft spot for cover tunes. On Oct. 15, the band will release 'ReAnimate 2.0: The CoVeRs eP,' which features their own distinctive takes on an interesting range of songs.
Halestorm are still a relatively new band in the public eye, but the truth is they've been around for 15 years. Frontwoman Lzzy Hale began writing original music with her drummer brother Arejay since she was 13 years old, and the year later, Halestorm was born.
Halestorm rocked their Grammy-winning song 'Love Bites (So Do I)' and 'I Miss the Misery' at the 2013 Revolver Golden Gods on May 2, but really raised things to a fevered pitch by introducing Device's David Draiman. While many might have expected Lzzy Hale and Drai
It's always great when bands can bring up a guest collaborator from their album during a tour stop and that's exactly what happened when Adrenaline Mob took the stage during a recent show in Nashville. Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale made a surprise appearance, reprising her vocals on 'Come Undone' from the band's debut album 'Omerta' and then sticking around to cover Heart's 'Barracuda.'
One of the more intriguing tracks on Device's upcoming debut album is the cover of 'Close My Eyes Forever,' in which frontman David Draiman shares vocal duties with Halestorm singer Lzzy Hale. Now, the song has been unleashed for everyone to hear. Check it out below, as well as some insight Draiman gave Loudwire into recording the duet with Hale.
There are times in rock where the planets just align for a great collaboration and that happened again last week (Feb. 22) at Stockholm, Sweden's Bandit Rock Awards when Halestorm's Lzzy Hale hopped onstage to join Slash and his touring band Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators for a performance of Guns N' Roses' 'Out Ta Get Me.'
Lord knows that many of the musicians taking part in this year's Revolver Golden Gods have done their fair share of interviews overs the years, but in the commercial for the 2013 ceremony, they get to experience life from the other side of the microphone in what amounts to the world's most metal press conference.
As a woman in the entertainment industry, there is always the question of how much to play up the sex appeal, and Halestorm's Lzzy Hale shared with Playboy.com her thoughts on taking part in sexy photo shoots and the focus on image in the music industry.
