Murp have crossed over to perform the original track 'Thunder Silences the Bully.'
We at Loudwire our big fans of Murp. Made up of vocalist Aaralyn and drummer Izzy, Murp captured the attention of millions by performing on 'America's Got Talent' last year, garnering millions of YouTube views in the process. And while they didn't end up winning, there's no stopping metal's favorite kid band, as Aaralyn and Izzy have just unveiled a winter rendition of the Sepultura classic 'Roots Bloody Roots.'
Aaralyn and Izzy (aka Murp) have been eliminated from 'America's Got Talent.' The kid metal duo stole our hearts with televised performances of 'Zombie Skin,' 'Lullaby Crash' and 'Dog Poop,' but unfortunately, the shrieking Aaralyn and her drumming brother Izzy will no longer grace our television screens on 'AGT.'
The kid metal duo of Aaralyn and Izzy (also known as Murp) rocked yet another edition of 'America's Got Talent' last night (July 23) with an original song titled 'Dog Poop.' For Murp's third AGT performance -- and first one on live TV -- the show afforded them a massive production including pyro, a backing band and even a drum riser which was lowered from the ceiling.
Young rockers Aaralyn and Izzy from Murp have garnered the attention of Jane's Addiction's Dave Navarro, who recently commented on Twitter about their cover of 'Mountain Song.' For those not in the know, Murp are definitely being raised to love metal, as evidenced by three years' worth of YouTube clips. And there's no doubt that the singer and drummer definitely "metal up" this Jane's classic.
Get ready to meet your new favorite band. Fronted by the most extreme five-year-old frontwoman to ever pick up a mic, the band Murp combines groove and doom metal characteristics with a shrieking vocalist and an image that will make you go, "Awwwwww."
