Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators are out on the road this month for round two of touring in support of Slash’s latest disc ‘Apocalyptic Love.’ With his top hat firmly in place, the guitar great and his all-star band are hitting up markets they haven’t visited in ages, or in some cases, ever, as was the case when they pulled in to Hampton Beach, N.H., for a show at the Casino Ballroom on Sept. 16.

DirectTV’s show the ‘Guitar Center Sessions’ is setting the bar high with their first episode. Starring in the season kickoff, guitar superstar and recently crowned 'Riff Lord' Slash will perform an acoustic set with back-up support from Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators (Brent Fitz on drums and Todd Kerns on bass).
Guns N’ Roses were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this month, and unless you’ve been living under a boulder of sorts, you already know that Axl Rose opted out of the festivities. During a press conference in Italy in support of his upcoming solo album, 'Apocalyptic Love,' Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash was questioned about that night and his feelings about Rose not being present. All in all, he kept his response positive.
