Following the recent announcement of the Toronto lineup, the organizers of Riot Fest have now unveiled the list of bands performing at the Chicago and Denver editions of the festivals, as well. While there are a great deal of alt-rock acts, there are a number of heavy hitters on the bills.
Rise Against, Social Distortion and Bring Me the Horizon are among the bands leading the lineup at the 2014 Riot Fest and Expo that's taking place in Toronto this September.
The Detroit-area festival Chill on the Hill is back for its second year, and organizers have revealed that The Offspring and Rise Against will headline the two nights Sept. 6 and 7 at the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights, Mich.
It looks like we can add another one of rock's heavy hitters to the release schedule this year. Rise Against have headed online to tease the fact that the band is back in the studio working on a new album for 2014.
Rise Against recently unleashed their B-sides and rarities collection, 'Long Forgotten Songs,' and we've got a couple of cool items for fans related to the release. One is the album sampler video above and the other is an awesome contest featuring a 'Lost Forgotten Songs' prize pack.
On Sept. 10, Rise Against released ‘Long Forgotten Songs: B-Sides & Covers 2000 – 2013,’ a collection of tracks spanning their career that never made it on to one of their six studio albums released over the past 13 years.
