The third annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards took place in downtown Los Angeles last April, but the magazine has only now released behind-the-scenes footage from the rehearsals for the big show. Former Skid Row throat Sebastian Bach performed his ex-band's classic anthem 'Youth Gone Wild' with those irreverent British blokes in Asking Alexandria at the event, and these clips show the singer and the band feeling each other out before the actual performance.
It’s another solid week for new rock releases on the Billboard 200 albums chart. ‘Chickenfoot III’, the latest from super group Chickenfoot debuted at No. 9 selling 42,000 copies. Their previously released self-titled album in 2009 rocked the charts at No. 4 with 52,000 units sold so the ‘Foot has some catching up to do. But with the combined star force of Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani and Chad Smith, this release has some staying power.
Sebastian Bach is a survivor. Neither a recent divorce from his wife of 18 years; nor losing his New Jersey home to Hurricane Irene; nor being pursued by an angry deity on the cover of his latest solo album can deter the former Skid Row frontman from finding a way to persevere and turn his pain into kick-ass rock 'n' roll.
As we learned in our recent interview with Sebastian Bach, if you want an honest opinion, just ask! The no holds barred singer extraordinaire is at it again. When SleazeRoxx.com recently asked him about his audition to become the new singer for Velvet Revolver, he was quick to set the record straight.
In a recent video message to his fans, Asking Alexandria’s resident rebel Danny Worsnop looked like a dapper choir boy. The singer recorded a personal message to his fans thanking them for their support, “I want to thank all of you for sticking with me during my not so professional demise. I’m back, I’m strong and I’m sure as hell going to give you one hell of a roller coaster ride.”
