The Lou Reed & Metallica collaborative album 'Lulu' is without a doubt the most infamous, reviled and debated upon release of 2011. Paolo Gregoletto, bassist for American metalcore band Trivium recently shared his "view" on the album, claiming that any fan who claims to understand 'Lulu' must be on some sort of drug trip.
Dream Theater gave New York City fans a theatrical performance at the very elegant looking Beacon Theater last night (Oct. 12). Labelmates Trivium served as support, to say the least. In essence, the crowd got two massive, headlining bands in one explosive show.
Trivium make quite a splash with their fifth album, 'In Waves.' While frontman Matt Heafy has said that he and his bandmates took a similar approach to the disc as they did with their second album, 2005's 'Ascendency,' Trivium take their sound and talent to a whole new level this time around.
