With his latest solo album 'Apocalyptic Love,' Slash has been busy on tour with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators but things aren't running so smoothly for his other band Velvet Revolver.

Congrats are in order for Duff McKagan. The ex-Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver bassist just received his high school diploma.

Slash recently stopped by the Howard Stern Show to promote his new album and ended up discussing Velvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland's "uncontrollable diva" behavior. The iconic guitarist also shared his love for Nirvana and offered his thoughts on the grunge era that gave birth to Weiland's career.

Slash has further refuted Scott Weiland's claims that the singer is returning to the Velvet Revolver fold to record a new album and to embark on a tour. He essentially said that while he loves Weiland, he doesn't want to be in a band with him ever again. That sounds pretty definitive!

Velvet Revolver have gone through a proverbial spinning of the cylinder as former vocalist Scott Weiland and current guitarist Slash have been sending completely opposite messages to fans. Just as Weiland insisted that he was once again a member of the band, the claims were swatted down by Slash.

Well that was fast! The news from Scott Weiland that he was back with Velvet Revolver and planning to record and tour came as a shock to fans, but no one may have been more surprised than guitarist Slash, who offered a denial when quizzed about it by Minneapolis/St. Paul station 93X.

After revealing recently that he would be open to reuniting with Velvet Revolver, singer Scott Weiland has apparently taken his position behind the microphone for the band that had yet to replace him.

Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland is not only looking to release a new STP album, but is also hopeful that he and Velvet Revolver will be patching up their internal issues to reunite.

In a new interview, he not only reveals that he hopes to release a new Stone Temple Pilots album, he also admits he would like to rejoin Velvet Revolver at some point down the road. It’s official, hell has frozen over.

They don't have a singer and haven't released a CD since 2007, but a new Velvet Revolver DVD is set to be released. 'Let It Roll – Live In Germany' will be in stores May 25.
