It’s Chino Moreno’s Tattoo!

The goat-like deity tattoo belongs to Deftones main man Chino Moreno.

According to Moreno, he wanted a tattoo of a baphomet. A baphomet is a pagan deity that is often represented as the goat with horns as seen on Moreno’s arm. He shared his vision with the tattoo artist, the artist drew up the original piece and Moreno loved it. In fact, in a past interview he’s commented on it, saying, “It’s probably the only tattoo I’ve got that I really appreciate, and really like.”

Moreno released an EP with his band ††† (Crosses) earlier this year named ‘EP 2’ and recently announced that the Deftones are headed back into the studio on July 9 to start recording their new disc, definitely something all Deftones fans can look forward to later this year!
