Tech N9ne has collaborated with Corey Taylor, Serj Tankian and members of the Doors, but the rapper is releasing another project rock and metal fans will dig. At 9PM ET today (Oct. 26) Tech will unleash the first part of his Brightfall horror series, detailing the darkness of Tech N9ne’s real life.

The first of a five-part series, the eight-minute movie is inspired by the song “Brightfall,” which appears on Tech N9ne’s 2018 album, Planet. Tech stars in the project along with hip-hop personality Sway and horror composer-actor Joseph Bishara (The Conjuring / Insidious / Annabelle). Brightfall details Tech grappling with the demons and black ooze that has become a recurring fixture on his album covers.

“This is actually when the fight starts!” Tech N9ne describes. "I first saw it in its infantile stages while in night service with my mom when I was 5! Now it’s all grown up like me and still following me! This is not fictional. I saw it! Now you get to see the description of my darkness through this short film Brightfall. Back stories will follow! October 26! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA! I will kill this thing I think cursed you throughout your angelic but turbulent and sickly life! I love you!”

Brightfall boasts an impressive team of horror filmmakers. Directed by Dale “Rage” Resteghini (Guns N’ Roses / O.T. Genasis / Yo Gotti), the film was written by David J. Schow (The Crow / The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning) and was produced by Sean E. DeMott (The Devil’s Carnival / American Satan) and Lorenzo Antonucci (American Satan). The film was executive produced by Travis O’Guin and Strange Films producers Dave Weiner and Kerry Rounds.

Come 9PM ET, Brightfall will be available at StrangeMusicInc.com for $2.99. Brightfall will also be available via Amazon starting Oct. 29. Will Tech N9ne's evil brain and angel heart survive the terror?
